[New Chick]

Hi

I have been given some Black Rock chickens, Mum, Dad and 8 young.  The young are about 3 and a half months old so I know they wont be laying yet but thought that Mum might have laid by now.  I have had them a week and they have really settled in well.  They are all eating and drinking well and i have put some poultry life guard in the water to help them feel well and flourish.

Can anybody help me? I am probably being far to impatient but am so looking forward to that first egg!!!

Might just be an adjustment thing? I'm totally new to chooks myself, so someone with more knowledge will be along shortly!
