It was indeed Aunty, sorry for repeating what you said!!!! :D
Oh no, not what I meant grannie.

I moved on to think that the plants have either had a shock by premature transplanting or by being grown in the wrong medium.  Too wet and too warm is still an option though  :D

flowers Sheila?? How big are your plants then?

Well this pic was taken 11th  April

3 others still look good but are much shorter.  Have been making sure water at roots and with water from tap that has stood overnight.  But they did get a splash from the hose via OH (he didn't know) a couple of days before first one died.  Can cucumbers grow too fast.  I am in the deep South so to speak West Sussex.

i got the plant from a garden centre and has been in the growbag for about 3 weeks now, i've also grown some from seed, so if this doesn't work i've got them to fall back on, what temp should the growbag be?

Thanks
First year at growing veg, not too fussed about being organic, but if I can I will, be nice ;)

If youv'e had it growing in the growbag for 3 weeks arronc, then it must have more that the two seed leaves !  If it has mature leaves it won't matter if the seed leaves die, just leave them to shrivel.

Yes outdoor variety marketmore.  The second one that was wilting seems to have picked up a bit.  Did give those two some phostrogen tomato food as they were in flower, but you know can't be sure but think they went funny after that.

Haven't seen any beetles so guess it will remain a mystery.  More to the point I didn't know all those articles were on the site.   Couldn't find them by looking at front page, so put cucumber in the search box and found the article.  I know your link led to it but am pretty computer literate so wanted to find it myself.  Probably under information articles, but guess the best way would be search box.

Thanks
