soil for Tom's
« on: September 09, 2009, 17:06 »
Hi all...do most on here use compost out of grow bags to plant up tom's or would a better quality compost and a bit of well rotted manure be a better option.....Planning for next year.

Very interesting question. I always use john innes no 3 to pot up my toms, but last year when i went to buy it they were sold out- rather than wait i bought a multi purpose and forgot about it. Until a month or so ago when i was wondering why all my tomatoes were only 70% normal size!
All these moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
