My broody girl Bokky has been sat now for a week and a half on 1st 5 then 4 khaki campbell duck eggs! tonight when i hoofed her out of the nest box i grabbed the 4 remaining eggs and nipped inside to candle them and only 2 are growing and bouncing around etc! Had a bit of a moment and thought she still has 2 weeks left to go with only 2 eggs  and its getting late in the year soooooo!.......... I had 4 chocolate runner eggs and 2 red dorking eggs in the incubator due to hatch this saturday! so i have swapped them! (all this before she went back into the broody coop ) thinking that i felt mean her sitting for another 2 weeks on her own with only 2 viable eggs! have i done the right thing??  she has settled lovely back on the eggs and growled at me when i opened it again to check on her!!! should i maybe only give her the duck eggs or the dorkings? will she be able to hatch a mix or shall i pop the dorkings back in the incy???

I think I would be tempted to leave the eggs she had with her but if the others hatch in the incubator which might be safer given the time of year, put them all in with her.
