The raspberry canes I got from the 99p store mostly died, a few have gotten leaves but no fruit. *shrug* We got a few from somewhere decent and they seem to be doing well, so no great loss there!

Most of my Lidl fruit died.

I bought some 15 plants,
the three blackberry died, one didnt even have roots, it was just a stick.
The Three Gooseberry, nothing
Three blueberry, all dead
Three black currant, one is ok, one is holding on, the others dead
Three Redcurrant, are all doing ok.

I just dont have the space for that level of failure.
On an allotment, whereyou can plant hundreds, its less of an issue I suppose.
We use chemicals in this garden, just as god intended

Think about 75% of the one sI had from parkers are going ok but they like the rest of the plot have been a little neglected this year  :(

I bought a number of trees from Lidl, the two bramleys are growing well and one has a fruit on it, but it looks nothing like a bramley ??? Cherry tree doing fine and plum tree a bit slow but it's been attacked by something and was planted in semi shade by a shed so will get going eventually. Not bad for the money.

I had several things last year  from either Wilkinsons or Poundstretcher (cant remember exactly) for £1 each all of which did well. Blackcurrant - very healthy growth plus fruit this year. Various raspberries - did amazingly well. Big healthy and abundant.  Shame I dont have any more space.
