Mine arrived today complete with bags.Would like to know is it better to use contents of new growbags, planting compost or mixture.

Apologies ,i am growing mine in compost,but will top up with gtowbag contents when cukes and toms have expired.

started mine off in compost today but will do same as beansticks when topping up.

As it's the first time I've grown Christmas pots I'm still undecided...can't really justify cost of compost if crop is as meagre as First Earlies grown in Local authority recycled green waste compost...must decide in next couple of days though as they need to be in ::)
