Much to our Spanish neighbours horror! Gave them to our friends to take home with them who had come to stay the night.  They rang to say they tasted lovely.  Within seconds of the fork going in Mercedes was down our garden looking horrified and saying no no then a few min later her brother was there telling us we were 3 weeks too early.  We tried to explain the potatoes were perfect and that our pal was an expert- he was a champion grower when he lived in Wales! But no we were too early!! Going to dig up another plant this weekend for us!
