storing veggies

As all our cabbage are now ready, how do you store them?

Can they freeze, if so do they 'have' to be blanched first, or can they be chopped and bagged, and frozen?

See here for details of freezing veggies.

And yes, you need to blanch if you propose keeping the cabbage for more than a few weeks in the freezer.

I always freeze produce in an open layer on a tray and then bag it once properly frozen - it's easier to separate than if frozen in a single clump.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
