Hi all

Sorry, a while since I posted.  We're moving house in the coming weeks and so just wondering if there is anything we should consider when introducing the hens to their new surroundings.  The house will be the same but they'll have more access to the garden.  I can't think of anything as I'm sure they're not bothered where they are provided they can scratch and make a mess of everything.

But just wanted to be sure...

Hi CC I would fence off a small area in front of the coop with canes and chicken wire to give them a run and chance to study their new surroundings
Leave them in that area for a day or two then let them have the run of the garden

Best to be on the safe side in my opinion
