Popped mine in a few weeks ago, may have been too early but I dont want to be late, but I have had to earth up twice already and they are up again, I have no room left to earth up anymore.

Will I be eating Christmas potatoes in November ? how is everyone else doing

Putting some in tomorrow....watch this space......, although, referring back to the beans thread, being oop north means they'll take longer anyway!! I knew it had its benefits!! If onky I can keep the frost away?!

Mine are going into bags in the garden this weekend.

What you going to do with them later in the year argaric? How long you leaving them out for? Weve got 5 seeds to put in, but cant decide how many buckets to do. I know we'll get a bigger yield from 5 buckets, but dont have room in the greenhouse!

Thinking back though, reckon we'll get away without frost before Christmas? You cant be far from me!!

Weve got maris peers, but only because they were the only ones we could get in a reasonable number at a reasonable price (infact, couldnt get any in the shops - these came from a well known online auction!!) but we were also looking to try charlotte or carlingford - maybe next year!
