My first time of growing dwarf beans and I am confused, as they look just like runner beans.  I had expected them to be rounded with a smooth skin, whereas these are flat with a rough skin.  Should I still cook them whole, or treat them as for runner beans and take the "stringy" bit off each side and slice??

Mine certainly do not look like this, but are a dwarf variety.  Mine were from Thompson and Morgan also.  Not sure what to do with them now - I think they will be touch just cooked in their pods.
