Seafood Chowder recipes please..
« on: July 17, 2009, 21:01 »
Have any of you got any  recipes for a seafood chowder or similar. I had some at a restaurant last week when I was on holiday and it was just gorgeous ( I can't stop thinking about it ::) .

I'm having some friends round for my birthday in a few weeks and I thought I might make something like that then..Been through my cook books, but nothing is really jumping out at me..

Any ideas?

Thanks

Snippy

Where were you on holiday?

Pembrokeshire...the sauce was like a bisque, not a clear soup like consomme...

Your best bet would be to phone the restaurant and sweet talk them into giving you the recipe.  Tell them you have contacts in high places.

I did think of that..I'll see what people come up with first. They served it homemade olive and sundried tomato bread that had a parmesan crust which was also to die for...Interstingly aswell it wasn't that expensive..
