I've found whitefly (french beans) and greenfly (strawbs) in the greenhouse - how can I get rid of them organically?

Have you got yellow stickies papers hung up Mel.  I find they really help!

There are quite a few biological control suppliers.

Talking of critters in greenhouses, something has eaten several small tomato plants down to their stems.  Likewise, some other seedlings have disappeared completely and others have bite marks around the leaves.  Yet I can't see anything in there that might cause this.

Apologies if you think I should have started a new thread, but what the heck can it be?

I've had what looks like slug damage, ICM - my beetroot seedlings have been munched, and there's holes in my sunflowers - slimey trails indicate the culprits.  I've got nematodes on order (should be here by the weekend), so will make sure I give the GH a good dose too!

with the sticky paper it also catches bees, butterflies, lace wing which eat green fly i think it is a nasty thing, could you not just keep squashing them with fingers or take in some lady birds? what about crushed garlic hanging the greenhouse?

These sound like sciariad flies also known as fungus gnats, they are very common and I also get them all the time in the grrenhouse. They don't seem to cause a problem but they do get on your nerves. :)

Sounds as if you are over watering. Allow the compost to dry out a little more before watering. Although fungas gnats eat decaying organic material the lavae in the soil will also attact roots. If you allow the soil to dry out more they will die off.

No idea what the orange discs are.  No chance of a photo I suppose  :?:

Found the culprit, a ninja snail, it covered it's tracks and left no trail.

Found the snail stuck to side of tray where tomato seedlings had been decimated.  Not a snail trail to be seen on the soil.  Maybe it used stilts.  Anyhoo, I fed it to the birds and felt a feeling of oneness with the circle of life         That is until they poo on my washing again.
