Hi All,

Can anyone help me?

My ducking has just started breaking through the shell, How long will it take before it is fully out of the shell.

Do I need to do anything for it, or will mum do all that is needed.

Mum will sort everything Ducks take longer to hatch than chicks

Thought the egg had been stolen

That's great news, I thought they'd both gone 

Could be another 24 hours till the little one is out fully as they sometimes rest after breaking through the shell

Its hatched now.

Do I need to put anything special in the house bedding wise, At the moment it is on straw, is this ok or should I change it.

Is the mum and dad ok in there with it.

Wow Congratulations

I'd take Dad out to be on the safe side, drakes can be nasty and kill babies

It will need a shallow water dish with some stones in to stop it drowning and some un medicated chick crumbs, then when it's dry & strong mum will show it what to do
