I have tried a different variety of Runner this year - White Lady.  I thought it would be a
change to have white flowers!   Plants are very healthy with lots of flowers, but not
a single bean coming.  I am spraying the flowers each evening to help them set.
There does seem to be a complete absence of bees though.   anyone with any ideas?
Having said that, my tomatoes and courgettes are producing.

Like you I'm growing different beans this year, White Lady and Red Rum, and the White Lady are much slower growing than the Red Rum, however both are now flowering quite profusely, and there are quite a few tiny little beans on both, although, again, the Red Rum have many more than the White Lady.

But if you are getting lots of flowers on yours then it must be a pollination issue - not sure if it's possible to hand pollinate beans, could be fiddly and very time consuming but the other option, i.e. no beans, doesn't bear thinking about!!

could it have been too hot recently?
