Courgette Flower

Does anyone have any ideas about what i can do with my coujette flowers?
I know you can eat them, but am not sure what to do with them!! :D

Concoct lovely mixes of things that contain for example, rice, cream cheese, marscepone, etc. plus other vegetables, herbs and light meats like finely chopped bacon rashers or chicken breast mixed in.... and then stuff them, piping the mixture in via a wide nossel

... or you can be completely unhealthy, batter them and deep fry - a tempura style batter is supposed to be best. I tried this with brocoli florets and wild garlic flowers, but no-one else would eat them  :(  I'll have to try harder to disguise them  :lol:

pick em off and eat them raw whilst you harvest other stuff! (check for bugs first tho, unless you don't mind a bit of protein  :D)  Mmmmm
There's more comfrey here than you can shake a stick at!

I cooked some of these a couple of years ago.I stuffed them with rice/chopped chestnut mushrooms&gorgonzola cheese,then did the tempura batter thing.I think they turned out all right

sounds lovely - but how and when and which flowers do I harvest.  If I take the flowers off do I lose the courgette? ???
