I was taking a look at the photos on John's site and loved the use of bottles edging a bed on Plot 28.  I wondered how well it worked for them in the end.

I'm always trying to think of free ways to edge my beds and I have to say I get through a few bottles of wine a week (hic!).  I thought what a brilliant idea and it gives a bit of character and personality to their plot, even if to some it says alcoholics 

Has anyone else come up with unique ways to edge their plots?

Great isnt it? 

Sadly my plot has to be edged by a 6ft fence. So no-one would see my fancy bed edging   

 But I love the idea of edging with garden ornaments (seen a garden like that recently) or a layer or two of breeze blocks planted with succulents, or even a worlds scarecrow display
