runner beans
« on: June 26, 2009, 15:09 »
Dear Group Members,

I've just noticed that the tip of my one of my runner beans appears to have been burnt. The bottom part of the plant appears to be OK. Any ideas? Will it continue to grow do you think?

Have you had any rain followed by sun  ?  That could have burnt it.

The plant should be fine and will throw up more shoots.

And taking the tip out will produce a bushy plant with easier to reach beans...
