hi all im new here and i have five blueberry bushes in large pot 18"deep  and 2'round they are in erecacious compost topped with three inch layer of bark the problem i have since moving house is i no longer have a vast supply of rain water to feed and water them with so i need to change the ph to 4.5 so it is acidic and then the bushes should thrive but what do i add to tap water to get rid of the lime in it thats reasonably cheap and easy to buy? sorry for no punctuation not one of my strong points

Buy a big 'can' of distilled water, until you can get some rain collection sorted out.
In Greece i used the water from the aircon... if you know anyone who uses one, or melt the ice from your freezer.

I  add some vinigar to tap water if I have to use it to water bleuberrys... about 50/75ml added to a large watering can and leave it to stand abit before using.

Putting old coniffer/line leves on the surface also helps... as dose tea or coffe granuls parntaly but I havn't tryed that...

Also you can get special ericasious fertiliser/plan tonics to use ocationaly

the old guys on our plot in darkest east yorkshire put 2 tea bags in their cans of tap water and leave it for 2-3 days , before watering their berries etc
