Just clear liquid Watery poo.
« on: June 29, 2009, 11:12 »
I am sure my 11-12 week old cockerel is passing clear liquid, like water.  I have "heard" two discharges of it.  It has not rained here for 7 days  and no holes in the roof.

He seems ok.

Yes.  Even though it is very very hot in the coop. They still go in there to roost/roast midday.  One of the Cream Legbars even looked like it was trying to sunbath on the roosting bars. They are 2.4 inches wide.

Two of my girls have been doing this, but with the amount of water they have been drinking in this heat it doesn't surprise me. I can't believe your silly chooks are going into the coop in the heat! Mine are out at 5am and two keep perching on top of the ark at night and complain about going into the coop (it's well ventilated and cool at night, but they still protest)!

Hopefully no one will come along saying waterery poo is a sign of illness as I'll feel ever so guilty
