When to plant out my beans?
« on: June 19, 2009, 09:19 »
My climbing beans are now about 4ins tall in their paper pots, and I was wondering when I should actually put them in the ground?

When I do plant them out, how much space should I have between each plant?

If you climate is like ours - now!

I grow mine two per cane at 30 cms spacing, but dependent on the space you have and the number of plants you have, one per cane will give you a higher yield per plant.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
