Ive been given an old Echo SRM 402DE petrol strimmer because it doesnt work. Does anyone know where I could get spares for it, really only a Condenser and carb kit type stuff.

Im going to check the old Husky I have at work to see if its similar.

Countax are the main dealers for Echo.
I doubt if they will have really old stuff, but you never know.
Try going through a local dealer, if you have trouble finding one, let me know and I'll pm you a (local to me ) good ones phone number.

Thanks for the reply Gwiz, I stripped and cleaned the carb, changed the fuel lines, cleaned the air and fuel filters, cleaned the plug and put some new fuel in and guess what........

She fired right up. As strong as the Husky 143R-II at work and a little quieter too
