Hi,

first of all nice site(even tho ive not got any work done tonight ) very informative.

I thought id introduce myself, im andy or christine all depending which of us is on the computer  

we've  just taken on a plot, and hopefully will have it cleared in the next few days ready to start. I know its a little late in the season so were concentrating on a small section for planting this year(trying to decide what at the moment) and making sure everything is ready for next year.

so thats us, I look forward to taking part in what looks like a very friendly forum.

Hi and welcome - glad you like the site  

You're not too late for lots of things-  salad crops, beans (except broad beans) brassicas, possibly some first early potatoes, carrots to name all I can think of right now.

You could also use agricultural mustard or other green manures to keep the weeds supressed and improve your soil for next year too,

Hi Andy and Christine, are you near Boston?  I've got loads of tomatoes and runner beans plants and have run out of veg space, any good to you?
