 Help! some of my tomato plants are looking a bit poorly, the bottom leaves are all going yellow, also covered in brown spots Am I doing something wrong or not? Any help appreciated! Thanks.

Mine went like that and I lost all four plants  i have never had problems with toms until last year, its the curse

Are you watering/feeding over the contaminated Leaves?

Well for a start i'd remove the manky leaves!! Make sure you don't water on the leaves as it can rot them....and is there any chance of a photo of the leaves...might be easier to say what's wrong then.

Right, first excuse me, having 1 of them days!!!! I've removed all bad leaves & heres what they look like, sorry pic bit outta focus, the leaves are more on yellow side than in pic, cheers!

It looks like magnesium deficency to me. It can occur in tomatoes grown on sandy or acid soils, or where high-potassium feeds have been over-applied. In severe cases premature defoliation can occur, but mild cases are unlikely to affect yield or quality. It is easily treated by spraying with Epsom Salts. Dissolve ½ oz in a pint of water (20g/litre) and spray each day for a week.
