Anaemia would cause his comb to be pale rather than blue.  Poor circulation or breathing problems would cause it to be tinged with blue.

Aunt Sally is right, Vit B12 is for blood production. There is some evidence that Vit E is good for microcirculation but neither would affect comb colour I wouldn't have thought.

lol...me too Rob...

who knows... he enjoyed it, its just the very tips that are blueish...although yesterday they looked less so... so fingers crossed what ever is up, i am hoping he is fighting it off, and getting better... will have to see how he is doing today when i go down.

ok..so... been down to see Harry.... he is now crowing, an awful lot more alert, its the first time in days that i have been down and their dish of food has been empty, and his comb is less blue... d a m n powerful stuff that marmite.....

Oh well. My stepdaughter left a pot of Marmite last time she came to visit: now I know what I can do with it. No other suggestions, please, ladies and germs.

Aunt Sally, do you make melba toast to put it on or feed it to them neat?
