Just thought I'd pass on my idea for a bird scarer. I save all tin can lids, punch a hole near the edge of each one, (ring pull ones are even better) pass some strong string through the holes and attach to a coat hanger, or strung between two canes, the lids will spin, flash, and make a tingling noise scaring off the birds.
