wonder if anyone would be kind enough to help, had chicks for a week now, they are 9 weeks.  They are still on chick crumbs at the mo.  have instructions to mix it with growers pellets when there is about a third left in the bag... BUT says chick crumbs to be available at all times and pellets twice a day, so when i am mixing do i give them enough for all day or two meals???

Give them access to feed at all times up to 5 weeks when they are moved out of the brooder to outside, then feed available at all times of the day in the run.  Remove at night so as not to attract rodents. You can mix in with crumb but personally I would put them straight on to pellets, depends if you have the time to mix.

I also put them straight onto growers pellets at about 4-5 weeks.
