I used to live in Corringham and know that vet-wise, Wylies (are they the Hall Lane lot?)
used to be considered the best "country vet" in the area. Most of the others are townies and more used to cats, dogs and guinea pigs etc. Do know they are more cost effective for neutering and vacs as well.

Yes, Rubelite they are the ones in Hall Lane, Upminster, very helpful, the vet even stayed late to see us as they were fully booked what with it being the bank holiday weekend, when he looked at her he guessed her weight as 2kg, when he put her on the scales she was only 0.8 kg
