Not sure this is the right forum but as they infect my brassicas thought this is the best bet.

Basically, found yellow eggs on my brussels earlier and got rid of them. Then remembered a posting on here (can't find it again) from someone who thought they got rid of Cabbage White eggs but then realised they were Ladybirds. Looked up the images on the web and they look the same to me. 

So, what's the difference?

Ladybird eggs are smooth, cabbage white eggs are ribbed. You may need a hand lens.

Type ladybird eggs and cabbage white butterfly eggs into Google images and you will see.

Thanks Salmo. I did look them up, hence noticed they were both yellow but never thought to look at the texture !!

Anyway, a use for the lens I was given at Christmas then
