Gardener's Q time on Radio 4 suggested that growing sweet potatoes is easy. Never tried it but gonna have a go.

Any tips??

No... no tips, sorry...  but I did take some slips from organic potatoes in autumn, actually got good roots on them ( had them wrapped in damp paper in a polly bag)...  transplanted into pots where they all just either rotted or plain died
Would LOVE  to grow sweet potatoes, thought I had ordered some from a reputable centre, but obviously not ..  Please let us know how you get on with yours
