The traditional day for planting runner beans and marrows outside is "Rook Shooting Day" which is May 12th.

I have some dwarf runners and peas growing in pots. They are about 6-8 inches high. First time growing veg but am I doing something wrong by hardening them off already. For the past few nights I have been leaving them outside in a plastic greenhouse with te flap left open.

If someone replies quick I have time to get them in G/H before dark....or will I do more harm than good if I put them inside again

No I'd leave well alone as they should be able to cope by now

Mine have been uncovered for about 10 days and are growing away  :) I know I'm further south than you but they sound OK. Keep an eye on the weather forecast in case a frost is around and cover them over with fleece or even newspaper over night  :D

Thanks for that. They do look healthy, so didin't want to ruin them. I have got some tall beans just started in greenhouse so will plant those out nearer June.
