its a marans curvee starlight is just the nickname . they came via RIR and a plymouth rock with a bit of bovans nera ( black).. 200+ eggs a year medium bird can be flighty ( nervous)

The lady at the 'poultry centre' said that they were very placid birds and good with children she dident mention nervous. Hmm might have been led down the garden path me thinks.
