keeping chickens / marestail

Hi ,
I am thinking about keeping chickens in my garden which is quite large . However I have a problem with the weed marestail in the part of the garden where I am thinking about keeping the chickens. Will this weed harm the chickens if eaten? Hope someone can advise

My ducks love it and eat as much as they can. Win win all round!
