« on: May 11, 2009, 11:25 »
I have two rows of raspberries and they have put out strong shoots (Can I take cuttings from these) as they are growing in the wrong place?

you should just be able to dig the stray shoot up and plant it somewhere else

You might be lucky if you replant them now - raspberries tend to be quite resilient plants, but the normal recommended time to take the side shoots out and move them is late autumn. Make sure the take a decent bit of root off the parent plant with them to aid their survival whenever you do it, and water well once in their new home
