Well, I'd have to agree but only in terms of time spent on this forum and with my head in various vegetable growing books and of course time on the plot - if I had the money though - I'd def be spending it!!!

H*ll - there's worse things to be addicted to right? ;) :D

(I want a cherry tree too... ;))

Regarding spending - just think about the returns, all that fruit!

Allotments can also be addictive in regard to time   '' just popping down to see how the ( ) is doing.......'' can lead to a 3 hour stint. But again there are plenty of worse things to spend time on.

But again there are plenty of worse things to spend time on.

my daughter would beg to differ with you on that point as she is the one literally left holding the baby when I indulge my addiction over the weekends!!  but not in the week, then I take bubs with me!

BUY from Freecycle???

i know what you mane DD,, but you would be surprised how many folk offer money for stuff advertised for free,, I use freecycle alot and have been offered money several times, I always refuse but as i have kids some folk will kindly give the kids something instead,,  as i live in a small village opposite the church i now suggest thet they give any money to the church or the village hall/kids club which are all run from donations fundraising events ect..
