I just had to let you all know, tomorrow I become the proud owner of a poly tunnel for my seeds and plants, its the first one I have ever owned, I never had a greenhouse and never grown anything other than flowers before. I feel that I should have a celebration drink or two inside it when we get it up - that's if my husband is still talking to me, we are not very good at working together :roll:  :roll:  :roll:  It seems that men can only do one thing at a time whilst we women can multi task very successfully( no harm intended guys)  :roll:  :roll:

If Viv's OH is anything like mine, she'll be breaking it over his head not the door!!!!      

I've been planting potatoes today, and his first comment on row 1 was aren't they a bit deep?  then he comes out again on row 2.  Are they in deep enough?

He's been making me a cold frame and wants me to put it on the bed next to the large greenhouse where my brassicas are going.  It can't stay there I said, my brassicas are going there.  Well, you want it near towhere you are working.

Next comment was when I finish the frames you can put loads of cabbage seeds in trays instead of in those fiddly little pots.  Its enough to make you want to live in a flat!!!!!

You have to be careful which Annie your talking to these days cauli!!!  There are so many of us on here now!!! lol

I took some tomato plants down to my daughter week before last, and she said they are looking good, 2 died the day after the journey down to Kent, but she has 3 tumbling toms from what Munty sent me in her hanging basket, 2 Incas and 2 Beefsteaks.  I put one of each out in a sheltered part of the garden and she is keeping the other 2 indoors in case frost kills the others.  

What Ive got in the greenhouse so far are only about 2-3 inches tall, but they are looking good, was going to sow some more today, but got busy with potatoes and after a few hours, the old legs ache a bit, so I've left it until tomorrow now.
