Tomatoes in hanging baskets.
« on: April 29, 2009, 10:21 »
Sorry another thread about toms in hanging baskets but can't find the answer I'm looking for in the others.
I'm growing Gartenperle in hanging baskets and don't know whether I am meant ot be pinching out the sideshoots like I would with the normal ones.
I had some last year but kind of just left them to it. Wondering what I should be doing.
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

I don't think you need to - Gartenperle are bush types.  I grew a couple last year and they were very prolific.  I even managed to eat a few before the blight arrived...
