My brother got his plot the same time as me and it's directly opposite mine. He's not worked very hard on his and to be honest myself and hubby have probably done most of the clearing.

Anyway , to cut a long story short , his shift pattern has changed and he can now spend even less time on the plot then he was before . He has given me free rein to do what I like with it , as long as he can come and potter about when he wants to and partake in the goodies when they grow!

So I am now excited all over again with an extra 2.5 rod to plan and play around with ..... Just as well really as I was running out of room on my own plot!

Happy days ... 2 lotties , double the pleasure!

I had a similar moment when I got told that I could use 5 beds that we normally grow Dahlias in ( no idea how many rods, but a fair tad bigger than my 3 * 13' x 2'9" beds that I had last year ) .... feels great eh?

The bad news is ... after all excitement, followed by the panic "how the hell will I fill all this?", subsides you realise "damn, I'm running out of space, and it's only April!!!" :O
