My multiple soft shell egg layer has been featured in this site a few times. Now she has decided to keep me on my toes guessing where she is going to lay her egg(s). Never a dull moment. Perhaps we should have a gallery of strange places sgga have been laid.

Seriously, it is almost like the eggs come out unplanned - perhaps when she is pooing. Any suggestions?

Thanks for showing us the eggsamples of where your hens lay their eggs.  You should be eggstatic to at least be able to find them!! 
Many years ago I used to have a hen that would lay her eggs in the garden then scratch earth over them.  I had to take one of my dogs to sniff them out, which she loved doing because she always got to eat the ones that were "buried."

With soft shellers they will lay them anywhere as it is very painfull for them to lay an egg without a shell, so they just wander around or hunch up, constantly pushing until they are able to lay it, bless her.
