Bought some Hurst Greenshaft Pea seeds today and was hoping to grow these in a container of some kind. Any recommended shape and size of container for peas?

Round .. and preferably with dimples on the sides .... buy a green one though or everyone will think you've got a golf ball tree

any shape will do, but make it as big as possible, you dont get a high yield from a few plants

Ok will use some of my old round pots have a few old not very happy plants in some good size pots. Presumably you grow them like a pyramid in round pots?

yep,make a cane pyramid and wrap twine around for the peas to grab
