On the editing front .... I think posts only get a date stamp once some-one else has posted another post after the one being edited.

In other words if you edit a post before anyone else posts it doesn't get a date stamp.

Onto other matters,

I snook up the allotment this morning at the crack of dawn to take the tops of the ridges, I moved about three ft on one of them..

Hopefully, my damage limitation exercise was effective, its the AGM next week, so I wouldn't be suprised if I get collared and asked about the dead bodies currently buried on my plot.
