That's a lot of asparagus  ;)  Enjoy!  Shady stuff .... lettuces?  Herbs like mint?

Caulis can tolerate some shade as they don't bolt as quick as in full sun. Maybe other brassicas like cabage, calabrese and sprouts will be ok - the sprouts should be if the shade is from leaves on trees which will fall come autumn, maybe potatoes? (See what other replies say). I have grown beetroot and leeks in a partly shady bed overshadowed by a very old Bramley apple tree. Parsely and mint are also ok.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I grew chard in pots in partial shade last year (couple of hours in the morning and a couple more in the afternoon) and that did OK.  It might have been better with a bit more sun but I had enough for a few meals from a couple of 2ft square pots.

Lettuce like a bit of shade. I grew broad beans OK on my shady bed. Most things that don't actually have to ripen would be worth trying. Not sure about carrots and parsnips though.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
