Hiya,

I have recently put my loo rolled broad beans out in the garden. They have some black tips on some of the leaves, anyone got any ideas of what this may be?

Did you start them off indoors and then put them straight out without hardening them off first (i.e. gradually acclimatising them to colder temperatures over a week or so)?

Other than that, I don't grow them so don't really know, sorry

Not sure without pics, but I suspect it's just a bit of wind burn. Are they exposed? It may help to construct a bit of a wind shield (2 canes and an onion bag did the trick for me) Good luck.

Hi, i recomend a cold frame, stuff can come out of the greenhouse into the frame with the lid up and if a really cold night is forecast close the lid overnight, a week of that and they're erady to come out.
