Last year I grew some cracking healthy aubergines that were doing well in two pots on the patio. Well until I planted them in the garden and they got rained on continuously in our "summer."
Digging around today reveal that they have good roots and are still alive, I have placed them in the greenhouse and repotted them. Will they re sprout and grow again??

They are a perennial in warmer countries.....yours have been very lucky to get through the winter we had

So i guess keep them happy and they will carry on....they may need pruning when it warms up a bit as they do grow big and bushy with a bit of warmth. Good luck and let us know how they go.....and pictures if you're successful

You have installed a degree of optimism in me now. I have re-potted fed and watered them and put them in the warm. Fingers crossed I didn't get any last year so I may get lucky. Didn't know they were a perennial though!!
