Am probably asking a really stupid question but after looking at lots of feeders and reading various things am really confused....
Do I put a feeder and drinker inside house and outside in the run( in the day when bird out) or just water inside and food outside when awake, and am I right that they should be raised off ground, ones we saw originally were red/white and seems to ust sit on ground

Have a few weeks until get the hens and now feeling a little overwhelmed...any advice appreciated!!!!

hello, it can get abit overwhelming carnt it, you will be fine.   With reference to the feeders and drinkers, dont put them in the coop, place them both outside and then when your girls have gone to bed you can pick them up and place them away.   By doing this you can sweep up any spilt pellets.   When you let them out in the morning just place down your feeder and drinker again.   Hens dont eat or drink at night so you dont need to provide them with it.   I have the red and white plastic feeder and drinker aswell.   Try and get the one with the anti scratch ring in it, just stops the girls scratching all the pellets out, stops wastage and they do work.   You can raise the feeder of the ground if you want, mine are on bricks only cause i dont have anything to really hang them off.   I would leave your water though on the floor cause if its raised it might get knocked and the water can spill out. You must be really excited about getting your girls, wot are you getting and dont forget to post some piccys, if you need any other advice feel free to ask, everyone on here are really helpful  nickyx
