I know tents are not strictly gardening, however........

Popped into Tesci at lunchtime and they have a camping clearance, tents are ok price however they had a stock of 2 person value tents at 75 pence each! (or in the case of my local they did have until i nabbed them all!)

Our son loves tents (we have an old caravan) but as he's only 5 they are generally a bit expensive to get one that may get damaged, however at that price he can do with them as he will when we are on holidays, particulalrly as he likes to take the dogs in them!
Also find the poles excellent in the veg patch as well (discovered this when I "rescued" a load from some anglers that were dumping them in a bush where i walk the dogs

They are obviously not going to be great camping tents, but as kids sunscreens/playthings, dog hideaways and eventually flexi poles for the veg patch 75p is a bargain!

Apparently it will vary from store to store on stock and dont try the Kettering branch!
