I cannot find earlier discussions on using these.   When I fill them up with soil, how deep should I place the runner beans inside them and is it the same for dwarf beans.  Thanks, Mrs Bouquet

Hi

I was struggling for info as well - I placed the beans about 1/2 way down and they have been fine - just sprouting now.

Those placed higher up (I had a little 'helper' who clearly had shorter fingers than me!) didn't work as the whole bean has erupted and the root became exposed

I've used them for all beans in the past and it worked - for peas I cut the tubes in 2
