Sweet Potaoes
« on: February 13, 2009, 16:59 »
Hi all,

I would like to grow some sweet potatoes this year.  Any advice or recommendations as to the source of their seeds?  Can I use cuttings or "slips" off the ones you buy from supermarket?  Do they any special requirements eg sunny or shaded areas, watering etc.?

Thanks

Hazem

If you search for sweet potatoes there's a thread about creating slips etc ... if I get a free moment I'll link it for you

I have followed it but the pictures in Leonies post are gone as I have pm'd people on 2 forums and they have said the pictures no longer exist  :( .I also found another helpful guide within someones blog which I copied to a word document and placed here (I just hope no one minds)
