I plan to put my onion sets in my high rise bed at home.  I have 2 days ago put lots of the chicken poo pellets you get in the tubs in the bed.  We haven't had as much snow as everyone else melted last tuesday I think it was, but loads of rain.  So question is should I wait for the chicken poo to disintegrate more or can I put them in now, will the poo burn them.

I'm pretty sure that the pelleted stuff is already composted so you should be okay planting at any time.

Yes it does stinky poo.  Good job putting it on now and not when we will be out in garden more.  Just waiting for the soil to dry a bit as I am worried about the onions rotting in the very wet soil.  some hope could still be waiting for a dry spell in may.
