A couple of the tomato seedlings I had coming up just died on me, but I think I overwatered them.  the others look okay though!

Sounds like yours just got too leggy as the others have said Pookey, but don't worry, you'll soon learn what they like and don't like!

And hi Bill inPA, haven't seen you around for a while????

I've got an electric propogator now - I had to buy something to keep John from penury.
So now I will be raising all kinds of stuff and getting soil all over the flat.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Hi Bill in PA, haven't noticed a post from you since I joined.   How far are you from Scranton, PA?  I do a lot of business with a guy there.

Hi whisky_golf,
Scranton PA is about 160 miles North East of me.  That's coal mining country.  People from that area are referred to as 'Coal Crackers'    It's mountainess and has much colder/snowier winters-shorter growing seasons.
Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life.

Hi Grannieannie, I've been buried in work - a lot of changes going on.  My small bit of spare time has been devoted to seed catalog browsing, can't wait for winter to be over.  :(

Wait until most of em have germinated and then take the lid off it shouldn't take long before they all show through once they start.

That's what I was thinking too.  Just because you can't see 'em, doesn't mean that the propagator hasn't done its job.
